He served as host and Co-Executive Producer on the Travel Channel entertainment/lifestyle show Paranormal Paparazzi. The show is based on Sagers' website Paranormal Pop Culture. He currently appears as host of Netflix’s 28 Days Haunted (which charted as a Netflix Top 10 Most Watched globally and in the US within the first three days of release); is a series regular/pundit on Travel Channel’s Paranormal Caught on Camera (now in its fifth season); producer/host of the Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Ripley’s Road Trip web series; executive producer/host of the video/podcast series Talking Strange on the Den of Geek network; creator/host of the ad-supported independently-produced NightMerica true crime and paranormal podcast.
He appeared as HBO's Game of Thrones expert for morning shows across the nation, and filmed a Travels With Dracula travel show in Transylvania (with Bram Stoker's descendant) — which led to him returning to Romania for his Vlad vs. Vlad segments with Luke Evans supporting Universal Home Entertainment's Dracula Untold. Sagers has appeared as a host of Syfy.com and Syfy’s “Everything You Didn’t Know,” “Blastr to the Past,” “Science of Fear,” and “Comic Book Roulette.” He hosted Discovery’s Paranormal Lockdown: Evidence Revealed; the hourlong talk-show event for Syfy channel's Being Human; Skybound TV’s Skybound Happy Hour. He has appeared as an expert on SKY TV’s Greatest Sci-Fi Movies in the Universe, and Travel Channel’s Portals to Hell. He has also been seen on Today Show, Fox, CNN, TruTV, HuffPost Live, BBC, TLC, Reelz, Fusion, and Twitch.
He has served an expert on the topics of pop-culture, nerd culture, paranormal entertainment and zombies on BBC, NPR, Sirius/XM, Playboy Radio, and Coast to Coast.
